Does Ferrari’s cheating stem from its Formula1 Roots?

Just as Formula 1 technology finds its way into manufacturers road cars(the good) , so does the bad (cheating).

Watch this video on how Ferrari used cheat tactics to win F1 races....

    Moved to General.

Going to watch this in a second. I think it's Ferrari's insecurity (small Italian men) who want to be perceived as the world's best so they will lie, cheat, and steal to get there.

I mean they even roll odometers back. They have no morals. It's all about money and winning.

I can see you have your mind made up! I really don’t like how they use these tactics to manipulate F1.

On the other side of the spectrum, there are excellent products coming out of Italy, I would venture to say they are at the top of the spectrum. If you analyze carefully, you will see that Lamborghini, Maserati, Ferrari, Bugatti, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Moschino, Gucci, Fendi etc... all originated from Italy.... this is extremely impressive....

Ettore might have been Italian but Bugatti the automaker was French:

Automobiles Ettore Bugatti was a French car manufacturer of high-performance automobiles, founded in 1909 in the then German city of Molsheim, Alsace by Italian-born Ettore Bugatti.

Bugatti officially originated in Germany. Ettore Bugatti designs and shows all started in Italy. Molsheim later became a territory of France hence the French. They are now owned by VW

    Jaques Villeneuve.
One of the biggest $#@!s, full time attention whore and crybabie in F1 nowadays.
I cannot normally take any of his current opinions as serious.
But in this case it is not his opinion that counts.
Schumacher did what he also did to Damon Hill in Adelaide '94, only this time he didn't get away with it, giving Villeneuve the title.
I actually cheered when that happenend. I never was a Schumacher fan.

So, yes, Ferrari cheated there, and Mc Laren also cheated with Prost and Senna , although that was teammate Prost turning in on Senna
And Renault with Briatore also cheated in Singapore.
It happens. Sometimes it is the driver, sometimes it is the team, sometimes it is visible on track, and sometimes it is never proven (Schumacher's cheat modes at Benneton).
When the stakes are high and opportunity presents itself people take risks.
Nowadays it is a lot harder to cheat like that, with everything the teams do is under magnifying glasses.
There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works
