  • Volkswagen believes they should be making more enthusiast oriented cars

Yes, they should. What took so long to figure this out? Volkswagen is pretty damn boring and that is how the brand is viewed in the United States. The CEO of Volkswagen Scott Keogh told Motor Authority he believes the brand should make more enthusiast cars.

Yes, beyond the Golf R Volkswagen does not offer much of anything interesting to enthusiasts.

Want to make a splash VW? Build a super Golf with the Audi 2.5 TFSI motor. You will quickly change your image around and suddenly be viewed as a top performance option.

Talk is cheap Volkswagen. Do something beyond changing the design of the 'R' badge.

create the "RS" badge for VWs and slap a 2.5TFSI into all of them...

I personally would like to see a VW "Arteon RS" with the 2.5TFSI

What happened to the VW Boxster look alike? I guess VW couldn't put the 2.5 TSI in that anyway because that configuration would put the Porsche Boxster out to pasture.
