r888s are a great option... too many misconceptions about DD DR's or r888s too... what good is power without traction. Overlooked way too many times.. If i were him I would have r888s or nt05r's on order the day i ordered the GTM kit

yea i believe he is going nt05s with 345 tires...lol.....the V will be rocking 315 MT ET Streets when it hits the road again

i heard there are video's, but havent seen any yet. although the 2 650 cars are the "same" i am sure they are not, and the blue one HAS to be faster. how much, i dunno, but HAS to be.

M cars on DRs is NOT a good choice. DR's dont turn well and we will want to take turns like an M should. R888's are the only real option for a streetable sticky tire. PSS ive heard great things about as well, but i think toyos have an advantage for straightline

Mileage wise how long are they good for? Would a set last the summer driving ~5k - 8k miles?

Traction on the dusty track and RWD is gonna be a problem for most powerful cars... This race would not have been closer had the surface or traction been better. Vette shows the power to weight advantage here for sure but the race was the race. I plan on switching tires when I flare or mini tub the Vette the NT05 is one of my top choices.

I think so. im pretty sure i drove on my ET streets for about 2k with no significant wear, BUT i cant say for sure. i do KNOW that the rear will walk on you if you try to drive a bimmer like a bimmer though

I refuse to do DR's on a car I drive I tackle to many off ramps and back roads to play that game. NT05's, R888 seriously considering Hoosier road race tires as well. I knew a TT Z06 that prowled the streets on those and DD with them. A little hairy when the tires are not heated up though.

squeez what tires do you run? r888 or nt05r , or MT's should be on your car if you are doing any type of racing where bragging rights are involved... any street tire is a waste at your power level

its more about the compound than it is the width of the tire.... 305 should be fine and i know that fits fine cause i ran that size on my 370 when i had it

Chuck I have Bridge Stone RE-11's 305's in the rear with 3.33 gears. In the summer/ fall I had no problems hooking from 2 gear 40 MPH roll when I had less power 570whp. Now with more more not even my low boost of 600whp well hook in this cold weather.

I am going with a 11 inch rim minmum rim with a nitto NT 05 out rear not R888's
