Yeah, seemed like he try to slow himself down by riding the curb. Seemed to help a bit, at least the air bags didn't deploy.

Part of the problem here is that they allow anyone in any car with any skill level go on the 'ring. Look at the amateur mistakes that were made in this videos... half the cars are unsuitable for a track, the other half drive way too fast for the turns and yet others stop with essentially what is oncoming traffic. What idiots...
