Not cheap but if you'd see how much goes into them. The sleeves are about $100 a cylinder depending on the engine. But if they can do the block you can get alot of extra benefits out of it and it's no longer an open deck block and you can set the bore to what you want depending on the space. The hemi had a similar problem where you can only bore .010 where once sleeved you can set the bore to whatever size you want with the only limit the material between the bores limiting the design. You can also choose to alter cylinder height for engines that have massive stroker kits available for example the hemi I was going to do could then support a stroker kit to allow up to a 400ci bore stroke combo from the original 5.7.

It's pricey for our engine limitations but might be worth it for people that want a little extra displacement from larger pistons or the the extra satiety benefits if running large turbo setups. "

I know the big picture is money but I hope sticky will keep this sites focus more on content than straight revenue. Some noobs are better than others where some show up to learn others just show up to post a few questions, get their answers and run with no research or learning. I like that most posts here have content and not a little of daily questions about which (pick one) exhaust, DP, IC, Intake is the best. "

Then again, it is expensive.
I like this forum, it generally has intelligent discussions and is overall drama and noob question free. I'd rather not attract too many people from the other forums if it's going to turn this forum into anything resembling the others. "

" Cobb sold me on some Motul 8100 5W-40 stating the benefits they've seen in the Texas heat. Personally I haven't seen any difference in temps. Not sure another oil will help but try it and see what happens, worse case at least Mobile 1 is easier to get ahold of. "

" As much as I'd like the strip club coupons i'm afraid my gf would probably waste them too quick. She has no control over how much to throw, the titties come out and she gets her face burried and all her money dissapears quickly. I like the vendor credit idea. "

proper shaped fitted rings that usually get welded in :/

and little metal rectangles that insert a bit deeper in the block in the middle of the cylinder rather than the edge and really wedge in "
