Oil filter housing remains on its current locations. And we wont touch it nor block out anything to provide oil cooling on lower temp level than on OEM (like 110-120celsius degrre). We do not afraid of higher oil temps as we wont see significantly higher than as usual oil temps as we use ceramic coatings inside and outside of the engine on many elements, which at the end helps keep engine (and therefore oil temp) in a moderate range. I believe BMW uses higher oil temps in this specific DI engine to provide more heat and therefore more burn efficency (direct and indirect way). "
