It's why I spent my summers in college at racing schools like Skip Barber, it's just a shame that too few people want to live with a manual transmission anymore because driving a paddle-shifted car now is a little less exciting for me. It seems like for most people, the fun of racing (street racing, drag racing, circuit racing, whatever) is in winning. To me, the fun is in the competition itself. As an example of what I'm talking about, I beat all kinds of cars in my 335is but it gets old quickly because I'm basically sitting there waiting for my car to prove itself faster (or slower) than whatever I'm next to, I had way more fun the other day losing to a C6 Corvette in my manual 135i or getting absolutely thrashed by a Panamera Turbo.
Yes and with the GT3 the PDK is really what helps it since the motor is so high strung and low displacement. So it just HAS to have it to increase performance.

The M235i likely would be perfect for you. "

Sticky replied to the thread Quaife Announces LSD for M278 C207 E550 Coupe, Due July.
" It is official, Quaife has a limited slip differential upgrade available for the C207 Mercedes-Benz E550 models. With the torque the M278 twin turbo V8 generates a limited slip differential becomes necessary to maintain traction and definitely will improve putting the power down in corners especially as well as the straightline or low traction conditions (rain, snow). The diff is a direct replacement for the factory open differential. It will not interfere with the electronics or cause any malfunction lights.

The differential will also eliminate a degree of torque steer from the factory open diff. Quite simply, it's a great upgrade for the rear wheel drive E550 coupes. The diff comes with a lifetime warranty and will be available in July.

Great of Quaife to take care of a definite need for C207 E550 owners.

That makes sense just seems it would spare you guys a lot of trouble if people could do it on their own laptop. I bet you I could get mine working

Actually, maybe that would help you? Then I could do flashes for you in this area without you having to send a laptop out. "

" Here are pictures of what an APR Stage III turbo kit setup looks like on a MKVI Golf R. The kit is very impressive and comes with all the hardware necessary obviously. This install was done by APTuning who photographed the process. A dyno is included of what the setup is capable of. On 100 octane race gas the Stage III GTX kit shows 511 horsepower versus a stock 272. Unfortunately this dyno is at the crank and not the wheels.
